I wrote this song yesterday and recorded it today. When I was recording, it
was storming outside. Thunder can be heard in two places. Coincidently the
opening verse is, "You lived your life like a summer storm." The thunder
seemed appropriate, so I left it in there. The song is about my brother who
passed away in 2004. It consists of three tracks. One contains me
strumming the chord progressions and singing. The second one consists of
some higher gain bar chords to accent the chorus. And the third one is a
single strum of an open D at the end. Pretty simple song well within my
