Within a singer's range there are areas which aren't necessarily
sung the same way with the body. They can be called 'chest voice'
and 'head voice' and such. The notes at the boundaries of these
areas can cause problems since the body isn't sure which 'voice'
to use.
So maybe if a singer was really unlucky and a note they didn't
often sing fell right in the wrong place it might cause problems
but this would be rare. The exercises that are done to stay in
shape cover all the notes.
